Hybrid Workflow: Sculpted Clay Camcorder

This project is an exploration of integrating generative AI into a professional 3D pipeline. The base geometry of the vintage camcorder was rapidly prototyped using an AI image-to-3D model tool. Once imported into Blender, the focus shifted to material definition and tactile realism. I developed a complex procedural node-based shader to simulate the properties of wet, hand-molded clay, complete with fingerprints, tool marks, and surface imperfections. Further manual sculpting was applied to engrave the text and refine the edges for a handcrafted look.
